Will Br-easy Baby Fit Your Baby's Helmet? Let's Measure!
Before you purchase or rent, taking 60 seconds to measure your helmet will ensure the Br-easy Baby™ cooling fan fits securely and works perfectly.
The Size Requirements
Our ventilation system mounts directly over the top opening of the cranial helmet. To ensure a safe, secure fit and proper airflow, your helmet's top opening must fall within these specific dimensions:
-
Minimum Size: Must be larger than 2.25 inches x 2.25 inches
-
Maximum Size: Must be no larger than 5 inches long x 3.5 inches wide
How to Check Your Helmet in 3 Easy Steps
-
Grab your measuring tool: A standard ruler or flexible measuring tape works perfectly.
-
Measure the top opening: Find the main ventilation hole at the top of the helmet. Measure across the longest part (length) and the widest part (width).
-
Compare your numbers: As long as your opening is bigger than a 2.25" square, but smaller than a 5" x 3.5" rectangle,(5in Front to back and 3.5in Left to right) the Br-easy Baby™ system will fit!
(Tip: If your baby's helmet has a highly irregular or teardrop-shaped hole, just measure the absolute widest and longest points!)
Why These Measurements Matter
We want this to work for you from day one. Here is why we are strict on these dimensions:
-
If the hole is too small (Under 2.25" x 2.25"): The fan will not sit low enough to be secured to the helmet.
-
If the hole is too big (Over 5" x 3.5"): The base of our device won't have enough of the helmet's outer shell to grip onto, meaning it won't sit securely while your baby is moving around.
Still Unsure? We Can Help! If your measurements are right on the edge, or if you just want a second opinion before ordering, we are happy to help. Send a clear photo of your helmet's top opening with a ruler laying across it in the message chat or to tannerb@fundamentalbuild.com and we'll let you know if it's a fit!
